Best time to visit Sequoia National Park

You can visit the park at any time of the year. Each season gives the park a whole new color, aura, and scenic beauty, though many visitors say that end of May to beginning of June is the ideal time to explore this part of California. This is because temperature is warm, streams are flowing, waterfalls are at their best, wildlife is active, and the summer crowd is absent. The days are sunny; the nights are chilly.

Yet, many other visitors love to come here between July and September. Temperatures are warm and offer a great camping experience. But, be ready for a crowd at this time of the year.

If you wish to view the melting snow and the blooming wildflowers in the meadow, then come here between September and November.

Fall is the season wherein you see nature’s most striking colors, the dipping of temperatures, and the changing shades of the leaves. All these together make for a wonderful trip.

Winter can be adventurous here. Most of the park is inaccessible due to snow; but the park is still open. Experience pure tranquility at this time, as this is off season.

Spring, too, is a great time to witness nature at its spectacular best. Book a vacation rental in Sequoias today and pack your bags.
